NTA NCET 2024 Deadline Extended

  1. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the NTA NCET 2024, facilitating admissions to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) across various Central/State Universities/Institutions, including prestigious entities like IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2024-25.
  2. Prospective candidates interested in applying for the National Common Entrance Test 2024 now have until May 15, 2024, to submit their applications. Applications can be submitted through the official website at ncet.samarth.ac.in.
  3. Previously, the deadline for submitting the NCET 2024 application form was April 30, 2024. However, the NTA has extended the window for application form corrections, allowing candidates to make necessary amendments from May 16 to May 18.
  4. Initially scheduled from May 2 to May 4, the revised dates for application form corrections provide candidates with additional time to ensure their applications are accurate and complete.
  5. NCET 2024 is slated to be conducted on June 12, 2024. 

To prepare effectively for the exam, candidates can follow these examination tips:

  • Start early: Begin your preparation well in advance to cover all topics thoroughly.
  • Understand the exam pattern: Familiarise yourself with the exam pattern, including the number of questions, marking scheme, and duration.
  • Create a study schedule: Plan your study sessions to cover all subjects and allocate sufficient time for revision.
  • Practice previous years’ question papers: Solve previous years’ question papers to understand the exam format and identify important topics.
  • Take mock tests: Regularly take mock tests to assess your preparation level and improve time management skills.
  • Focus on weak areas: Identify your weak areas and allocate more time to improve your understanding and proficiency in those subjects.
  • Stay healthy: Maintain a balanced diet, get adequate sleep, and exercise regularly to stay physically and mentally fit during the preparation phase.
