UGC NET 2024 Exam Postponed to June 18

  • The UGC-NET examinations for 2024 have been rescheduled by the National Testing Agency, shifting the dates from June 16 to June 18.
  • UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar made the announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter), mentioning that the decision was made in response to candidate feedback.
  • An official notification regarding the rescheduling will be issued soon.
  • The UGC-NET exam will be conducted in OMR mode across India on a single day, as per the decision by NTA and UGC.
  • The exam will be exclusively in OMR-based mode, with question papers available in English and Hindi, except for language papers.
  • The test consists of two papers, each containing objective-type multiple-choice questions.
  • There will be no intermission between papers, and each paper will have a duration of 3 hours.
